About Us
Founded in Lucerne, Switzerland in 1977, Euro-American Programs, now known as EA Tours, has steadily become recognized as a
leader in the specialized field of student travel. For over three decades, the company has used its vast resources to show teachers
and students a unique way to enjoy the many offerings of Europe, Asia, South America, Africa, the South Pacific as well as
specific domestic U.S. destinations. Company President Tom Barnette is proud to offer something other than pre-packaged,
regimented, catalogue tours, and a different kind of company was born. EA Tours has become known as the company to call if a
teacher or school wants a custom-designed educational tour which is tailored to their specific requirements!
With the founding of EA Tours came a new and popular way of offering student tours. Teachers could create a tour for any specific
group, and EA Tours had the contacts and resources in Europe, the U.S.A. and around the world to provide just what teachers
wanted. The Company Founders knew that offering extraordinary personal service and attention to detail would have to be
the number one priority.
