DAY 1: Today you depart the United States from your departure city on your overnight flight to Madrid, Spain. Naturally, meals will be served and optional inflight entertainment will be offered. For pertinent flight details, please refer to your flight information sheet.
DAY 2: Upon arrival in Madrid, you will transfer to your hotel. Due to the early arrival of your flight, your rooms may not be immediately available for occupancy. Therefore, your luggage will be stored while you enjoy a guided panoramic city tour. This will include the Royal Palace and the Prado Museum.
DAY 3: Morning departure for a full day excursion to Toledo. Your guided tour of Toledo will include Sinagoga del Transito, the Cathedral, and the home of El Greco.
DAY 4: Morning departure and travel to Parque de Retiro and La Plaza Espana. Afternoon departure (exact time to be advised) for the train to Seville. Upon arrival, you will transfer to your hotel for check-in.
DAY 5: Depart this morning for guided city tour including such sights as the Cathedral of Seville, Giralda Tower, Torre de Oro, and Alcazar. You may also visit the Santa Cruz-Jewish Quarter and the Moorish District. In the evening, you may attend a Spanish music program.
DAY 6: Enjoy a morning half day excursion with your tour leader to the University of Seville and other local places of interest. In the late afternoon, you will transfer to the train for Marbella. Upon arrival you will transfer to your hotel for check-in.
DAY 7: Leave for a full day guided excursion to Granada. Here you will see the La Alhambra and Generalife Gardens, as well as the royal Chapel and the Cathedral.
DAY 8: Morning departure to continue your sojourn for Lisbon, Portugal. After your arrival, you will discover the treasures of this capital city. Cradled amid seven low hills at the estuary of the river, offering a fascinating combination of the old and the new world charism with an unmistakable character and beauty of its own.
DAY 9: Today, you will visit the 12th Century Lisbon Cathedral and the medieval castle of Sao Jorge (which stands with its ten towers on the hill where the original colony was in Phoenician times), the Moorish Quarter of Alfama (with its narrow streets and unwashed houses), and the Bairro Alto, center of Fado (the traditional folksong of Lisbon).
DAY 10: Today you depart Lisbon for your return to the United States, taking with you fond memories of your incredible journey.
