DAY 1: Depart the United States from your departure city for an overnight flight to Paris. Meals will be served, and optional inflight entertainment will be offered. Please consult your flight schedule for pertinent details.
DAY 2: Paris will greet you with all of the charm and elegance for which it is famous. The Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, Sacré Coeur, Notre Dame, and Place de la Concorde are among the important sights of the "City of Light." An excursion to the Palace of Versailles, once home to the Sun King, Louis XIV is planned. Not to be missed are the Musee d'Orsay (Impressionists collection), the artists of Montmartre at Place du Tertre, shopping at Les Galeries Lafayette (France's largest department store), and the charm of the elegant boulevards and the outdoor cafes.
DAY 3: Plan a guided visit to the Louvre, the world's largest art museum, which houses such delights as the Mona Lisa, Winged Victory, and the Venus de Milo.
DAY 4: Make arrangements for a truly enjoyable full-day excursion to Chartres to see the famed Cathedral and to the Loire Valley to see such chateaux such as Chenonceau and Chambord.
DAY 5: Spend time exploring Paris while shopping for that special gift for a loved one.
DAY 6-7: Depart Paris on your high-speed train ride to Nice. The unofficial capital of the French Riviera, Nice is a vibrant, important city boasting France's third largest airport, a major university, several museums and the most scenic beach in France. The famous seaside boulevard, lined with majestic palms, incredible shops and some of the world's most exclusive hotels, offers remarkable outdoor cafes and people-watching. Also home to many celebrities and stars, don't be surprised by whom you might see. Nice is the perfect spot to rest and relax during your European sojourn.
DAY 8: Plan an excursion to nearby Monaco, famous for its casino, high priced real estate, and luxury yacht filled harbor. The Maritime Museum, once directed by Jacques Cousteau and the Royal Palace will prove to be highlights of your visit.
DAY 9: Depart Nice for the United States, taking with you unforgettable memories of your incredible journey.
