Day 1 - Today you depart the United
States from your departure city for your flight
to Hong Kong. Naturally, meals will be served
and optional inflight entertainment will be offered.
Day 2 - In the evening you be
arriving in Hong Kong, the "Pearl of the
Orient". Made up of over 350 islands, you
will be enchanted by the sights of Hong Kong by
day and night.
Days 3-4 - In the morning, you
will depart for an informative half-day city tour,
which will introduce you to the highlights of
this remarkable territory. Your time in Hong Kong
will be structured in such a way to allow ample
shopping and supervised personal exploration.
Such sights as Victoria Peak where you will enjoy
a panoramic view of Kowloon and the Hong Kong
Islands, Aberdeen and the floating village, and
world-famous Stanley Market await you. Naturally,
several hours will be devoted to finding the fashion
goodies of a lifetime at Stanley Market. One evening
you will enjoy dinner at the well-known Jumbo
Floating Restaurant as well as a half-day excursion
to the Aberdeen Fishing Village where you will
see the Junks and perhaps enjoy a Sampan ride.
Hong Kong and its Kowloon area, known as "shopper's
paradise", are also replete with sightseeing
opportunities and some of the best Chinese food
in the world.
Days 5-9 - You will depart Hong
Kong, traveling to Honolulu, once again crossing
the International Dateline. Arriving to Honolulu
the morning of the same day you depart Hong Kong,
you will begin your time in the Aloha State of
Hawaii. Oahu, the Hawaiian Island home to the
state capital, Honolulu, remains the gathering
place for the majority of visitors to this tropical
metropolis. The afternoon of your arrival day
will be devoted to enjoying Waikiki Beach and
resting after your day of travel. The next morning
in Honolulu will take you to the ever important
Pearl Harbor Memorial National Park where you
will learn first-hand why the United States was
forced to enter World War II. The afternoon will
continue with an island and city tour to include
such sights as Chinatown, Bishop Museum, the North
Shore (famous for its surfing) and downtown Honolulu.
The following morning, you will continue with
a snorkeling* and swimming expedition to Hanauma
Bay. The variety of fish and marine life will
amaze you. Your final afternoon will offer supervised
personal time to explore the International Marketplace
and enjoy one last beach outing to Waikiki Beach
with Diamondhead as your backdrop. All this and
more await you on this magical island.
Day 10 - You will depart Hawaii for your flight
to the United States, taking with you treasured
memories of your incredible journey.
