Day 1 - Today you depart the United States from your departure city for your flight to Lima, Peru. Naturally, meals will be served and optional inflight entertainment will be offered. Upon arrival, you will transfer to your Lima hotel for overnight prior to your early morning flight to Iquitos.

Day 2 - Following your morning flight to Iquitos, you will travel by boat down the Amazon to your lodge. Activities, as you enjoy the mystery and grandeur of this area, may include jungle hikes, canoe trips and walking the canopy in search of birds, monkeys, sloths, marmoset and butterflies.

Day 3 - You may visit the giant water lilies, see pink dolphin and try your hand at piranha fishing. Visiting the local market and perhaps visiting a school in the Village of Indiana would be one of the trip's highlights.

Day 4 - You will return to Lima for your overnight before continuing your Incan adventure by travelling to Cuzco.

Day 5 - Cuzco. At near 11,000 feet above sea level, is an intriguing mix of past and present. Among the sites to see are the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, The Temple of the Sun, La Compania de Jesus and the Admiral's Palace.

Day 6 - Day excursion to the magnificent and mysterious Machu Picchu, an ancient Incan city. Here you will see the House of the Terrace Caretakers, Fountains, Temple of the Sun, the Palace of the Princess and the Royal Sector as well as the Funeral Rock among many dozens of amazing and fascinating ruins. These "lost" ruins have been the focal point of explorers and archeologists in South America since their discovery 90 years ago.

Day 7 - 8 - You will travel back to Lima where you will explore this city which for two centuries served as the political, commercial and ecclesiastical capital of South America.

Day 9 - You will depart Lima for your flight to the United States, taking with you treasured memories of your incredible journey.
