Washington D.C.

4 Days

Day 1 - Arrive in the morning and after lunch, board your bus for a narrated tour of America's seat of power, including a visit to the Capital Building, the Supreme Court, and the Library of Congress.

Day 2 - Morning takes us on a visit of the Smithsonian Institute and the Air and Space Museum. After lunch at the Air and Space Cafe, a visit to the Washington Monument. Next, ride across the Potomac to Mt. Vernon, the magnificent plantation home of our nation's first president. After dinner at a local restaurant, an evening at the Kennedy Center For The Performing Arts.

Day 3 - Morning brings a fascinating visit to F.B.I. headquarters followed by a visit to the site of President Lincoln's assassination. Both the Ford Theater, where John Wilkes Booth fired the fatal shot, and nearby Peterson's House where the president died, will offer a glimpse of American life and history in 1865. After lunch, a visit to Arlington National Cemetery, final resting place of the nation's war veterans, to view a wreath-laying ceremony. Late afternoon will provide time for a walking tour of the monuments and landmarks around the Mall and a visit to the Museum of American History. After dinner at a local restaurant, your group may opt to enjoy a movie.

Day 4 - After breakfast, visit the U.S. Mint where our money is made. Then you return to the airport for your journey home.
